Your Bücherhallen card is not transferable. You can use it at all Bücherhallen libraries / library buses (opening times are available in our flyer) and for our digital offerings.

You can activate your Bücherhallen card at any time by paying the service fee. Please keep your Bücherhallen card in a safe place.

You must report lost library cards immediately by telephone, email or in person. We will then block your Bücherhallen card. You will be held liable for any damage to or loss of media borrowed.

Your password is composed of 4 numbers of your birth date.
Example: 04 May 1962 = 0462. You can change the password on the internet.

• Day ticket: 3 media
• Children up to 8 years old: 15 media pursuant to the German Youth Protection Act [JuSchG] and sheet music, of which 3 may be console games
• Young people up to 17 years old: 30 media media pursuant to the German Youth Protection Act [JuSchG], of which 5 may be console games
• Adults: 70 media, of which 10 may be console games

The borrowing period is 4 weeks. Always press "beenden" (log-out) after scanning your items. A receipt will then be issued showing the due dates.
